The quest for immortality has captivated humanity throughout time. But now the riddle has been solved. The Unbegotten, a secret association of world-renown scientists, has accomplished the impossible . . . creating a group of genetically superior beings who are resistant to disease and aging. Yet the results of this “Progeny Project” have unexpected side effects as well---triggering dangerous genetic mutations that threaten the entire human race. Now the Unbegotten must find a way to contain their creations . . . even as one of their fellow scientists plots a revolt of the Progeny to create his own nation within the United States.
